This hotel exceeded my expectations! The staff was beyond friendly and helpful, making our Christmas stay wonderful. The fact that they had a pool and fitness center on location was a huge plus, and the location near the city center made exploring easy. We also enjoyed the complimentary breakfast buffet each morning. It was a great way to start the day and made us feel right at home.
There were really no negatives with this hotel. It was a bit pricey, but it was definitely worth it for the level of service and amenities offered.

We were immediately impressed by the high-end amenities and exceptional service. the rooms were spacious, elegant, and offered exclusive amenities, such as a private hot tub and balcony with stunning ocean views. the private facilities, including the gym and spa, were top-notch and exceeded our expectations.
Our experience at this hotel was incredible, however, we did encounter one minor issue. the breakfast options were limited and could have been more varied, especially considering the high standard of the hotel.

Loved the Art Deco Gem! Liked the stunning views we had from our room, couldn't get enough of it! the breakfast was simply amazing, they had everything you could want for a perfect New Zealand breakfast. the location was excellent, close to everything we wanted to do. Plus, the style of the building was unique and it made us feel like we were part of a different era.
Dislikes None at all! We had an amazing weekend there and are already planning our next trip back.

The B&B is conveniently located near the center of the city, allowing easy access to the stunning Art Deco buildings and walking tours. the rooms are large and comfortable, with incredible views of the ocean and city. the hosts are friendly and go above and beyond to anticipate guests' needs, even making dinner reservations without being asked. the attention to detail is evident in the well, appointed bedrooms and tiled, clean bathrooms. Guests also have access to a wood, paneled office with a large flat, screen TV, wireless internet, and a laptop.
The gym facilities and other amenities are not mentioned in the reviews, so it's uncertain if they meet the same high standards as the rest of the lodge.
